Where are my spellbooks saved?
Only on this device, in your browser. Locanda has no accounts and no server: what you add stays here unless you export it.
How do I move my spellbooks to another device?
In Settings, Backup, choose Export all: it saves one file with every spellbook, your custom spells and your settings. On the other device, open Settings, Load from file, and choose that file.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your spellbooks and custom spells go with it. Export a backup now and then and keep the file somewhere safe; each spellbook shows when it was last exported.
Does Locanda work offline?
Yes, once you have opened it: the spell list, every spell, your spellbooks and the pages you have already visited work without a connection. When a new version is ready, Locanda offers to reload.
Why isn’t a spell from my book here?
Locanda includes only the spells of the System Reference Document 5.2.1, the rules that can be shared freely. You can add any other spell yourself with New custom spell.
How do I add my own or homebrew spells?
Use New custom spell on the spell list for one spell. To add many at once, write a custom spells file and load it in Settings.
Can I print my spells or make spell cards?
Yes: open a spellbook and choose Print or PDF. You can print the full text, a compact table to keep at the table, or spell cards to cut out.
Can I switch between English and Italian?
Yes, in Settings, under Language. Your spellbooks stay the same; spells show in the language you choose.
Is Locanda free? Does it track me?
Locanda is free. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it loads nothing but its own pages.
How do I start over?
In Settings, Danger zone, choose Reset Locanda. It deletes every spellbook and custom spell on this device; your theme and language stay. It can’t be undone, so export first if you might want them back.
